1、 Product Introduction


The DTSD2255 energy meter is a multifunctional energy meter independently developed and produced by our company. This product adopts ultra-low power large-scale integrated circuit technology and SMT manufacturing process, and has the characteristics of high measurement accuracy, stable performance, high quality, and excellent EMC performance. It has the function of measuring positive and negative active energy, four quadrant reactive energy, recording time-sharing energy at four different rates, and recording various events during the operation of the meter (such as voltage, current, power factor, load, demand, and programming events). It has infrared communication and dual RS485 communication functions. Equipped with power-off meter reading batteries, it can achieve infrared meter reading function during power outages. The performance indicators of this meter comply with the technical requirements of GB/T17215.321-2008 "Level 1 and Level 2 Static AC Active Energy Meters", GB/T 17215.301-2007 "Special Requirements for Multifunctional Energy Meters", and DL/T614-2007 "Multifunctional Energy Meters" standards for multifunctional energy meters. Its communication meets the requirements of DL/T645-2007 "Multifunctional Energy Meter Communication Protocol".

1.1 Working principle

This three-phase multifunctional electric energy meter is composed of a measuring unit and a data processing unit. In addition to measuring active (reactive) electric energy, it also has two or more functions such as time-sharing and measuring demand, and can display, store, and output data. The working principle diagram is shown in Figure 1:

It consists of a measuring unit and a data processing unit (CPU), LCD, infrared communication port, dual RS485 communication, RS232 communication port, etc. When the electric energy meter is working, the analog signals (voltage, current) are processed by the measuring chip into digital signals, and the CPU performs arithmetic processing to store the data. The reading and parameter setting of electricity data and other information can be done through a handheld computer or a dedicated software combined with an upper computer. An infrared remote control can also be used to query any display item of the electricity meter in conjunction with a display meter.
